Annyeonghaseyo! Hello! My name is Macy Jiang. I am from Brooklyn, New York! I am 20 years old and I study computer science at Binghamton University. That means I am learning how to understand computers and create programs that help make our world a better place!
This fall, I have an amazing opportunity to study at Korea University as a Gilman Scholar. I love learning about new cultures, and I believe the best way to do that is by experiencing them firsthand. At Korea University, I will be learning about computer systems as well as Korean history and media. I am really excited to learn more about the world and see how people in Korea use technology.
Traveling is special to me because it helps me see the world in new ways and meet people from different backgrounds. I decided to study abroad because I want to learn as much as I can about different cultures and use that knowledge to make a difference in the world. I can’t wait to share my adventures with you!
