Sajeda has traveled to Spain, Turkey and the country of Georgia. She loved the "soul" of Turkey, which is the deep history and culture she found there. Semir has traveled to Malta, Lebanon, the U.S. and Israel/Palestine. His favorite place was Portland, Oregon.
Sajeda is an internship coordinator and program assistant in my study abroad program. Her job primarily consists of interviewing students and finding local organizations for them to work with. She also works to make the students feel comfortable and accommodated in Jordan. Semir is our housing and logistics coordinator. He places students with host families or in apartments. They both organize our cultural excursions and join us on our trips.
Sajeda and Semir invite you to come to Jordan!
Sajeda says to be open-minded and be curious about all the life, culture and history here.
Semir echoes Sajeda's sentiment of being curious. He says not to be anxious about making mistakes as you learn the culture and language. Also if you get the chance to visit, talk to locals. Locals are very open to talking about anything and helping.
