I am a 22-year-old from Erie, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Spanish-English translation in May of 2022. While I was an undergraduate, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, Spain, the Czech Republic, Israel and Palestine. I also spent my senior year abroad in Florence, Italy, where I studied European history and the Italian language. Since September 2022, I have been living and working in volcanic central Ecuador on a Fulbright grant, and I am eager to share about the Indigenous culture and language of the region, Kichwa, and the extremely diverse nature here in northern South America. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, cooking, traveling, and visiting museums. I can't wait to get to know you and your students and discuss my experiences in Ecuador!
