Hello everyone!
My name is Meenu Bhooshanan, and I am a sixteen year old girl who lives in Madison, Alabama. I live with my twelve year old sister, mother, and father. My father moved to America as a student, for college, from Mumbai, India. My mother moved later from south India to marry him. Now, he works as an engineer, and my mother is an English professor at a local community college. My sister and I were both born in our local hospital. Every few years, we visit India to see our family. I have family spread out all over the globe, most of them living in America and India.
Alabama is located in the south of the USA, just above Florida, where Disney World is. The South is not known for being diverse, but where I live in Madison, my community is filled to the brim with many cultures.. There are lots of people here, representing all the way from Egypt to China.
Right now, I study in my high school, Bob Jones High School. I am currently in 11th grade.This year, I am taking Biology, English, Public Speaking, and Precalculus in my high school. Next year, I will take Economics, Latin, Spanish, and Biology. My favorite subjects are math, history, and english.
