Hola! Hello! My name is Maria Perez, I am 23 years old, and I'm from Houston, Texas. I go to the University of Houston and study anthropology (like Indiana Jones) and Mexican-American studies. I love to travel, read books and learn about new cultures around the world. Last year I lived in Mexico and learned about the Aztecs, but this semester I am living in Lima, Peru! As an anthropologist, I love to explore old ruins and archeological sites from societies that thrived a long time ago, one of which was the Inca. I am currently studying at the Universidad del Pacifico, learning more about Peruvian society and the history of the Inca. I cannot wait to share my Peruvian experience with all of you.
