Bună ziua! Good day! My name is Martha Brown. I'm a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) at the University of Oradea, located in Oradea, Romania. I’m originally from upstate New York. I grew up in a small town outside of Albany. When I was younger, I loved playing sports outside with my friends and my older brother and sister. Actually, I still love running! In my free time, I like to go running at the track or on one of the bike paths in Oradea. I’m looking forward to running some races while I’m in Romania! Another one of my goals for this journey is to go hiking in the Carpathian Mountains. I would also like to improve my Romanian language skills and learn more about the local culture. I'm enjoying getting to know my students here as well as the other professors. I hope some of them will go running with me or join me as I explore the beautiful country of Romania! I'm excited to meet you too and share what I learn with you!
