We arrived early in the morning at a local market
My mom and sister discussed what meat to prepare with the chef
There were also lots of unusual spreads, sausages and meats!
Next we went to the seafood market, where the chef gave us tips on how to pick the freshest fish
The chef decided that the scallops were the freshest seafood that day—have any of you eaten scallops before?
Fruits and vegetables were next—we ended up buying potatoes, mushrooms, an orange, pears and all kinds of herbs
Last (and most importantly) came the cheeses—have you ever seen so many different types?
After purchasing all of the food, we went back to the cooking school, where the chef shared his menu
