One of the coolest things I saw was how garbage was displayed in one museum in Venice to bring attention to the seriousness of pollution in Italy. I did my best not to contribute to pollution by not littering, using less plastic, walking instead of using public transportation and recycling, properly. All of this means some extra work for me, but new behaviors like these go a long way in terms of helping Italy and our planet in general. Although I was sad to learn about how bad the pollution issue was in Italy, I am glad I left knowing that many Italians recognize this issue and are finding solutions to conquer it.
