This past semester, I learned so much from my first time living in Asia. I think I learned the most from being on the Facebook groups and in the clubs at school.

My university in Singapore, Yale-N.U.S., has about 1,000 students at any given time. It's a very organized place. I thought a school like this was heaven compared to my school, where people are very disconnected and you don't always know who's in charge of what. I quickly learned, though, that the school also had a few glaring red errors that made life difficult for students. The first was the fact that there was always an ongoing debate about the library. The library was positioned in such a way that you could either go through it to reach the other side of campus or around it. Going around it required you to make a "C" shape around the front of the library, while going through meant walking in a straight line and required you to tap your ID card for entry. Several people complained that the noises of people going through the library bothered them, but there were private rooms within the library that were almost always open.
