Rocco is seven years old. He lives with his mom, his dad and his abuela in Mar del Plata. His abuela owns a seafood restaurant by the wharf called La Nona Yoca. Rocco loves Harry Potter and futbol (soccer).
For breakfast, he usually has a medialuna and a glass of jugo de pomelo, grapefruit juice. For lunch, his mom usually packs him a sandwich with ham and cheese, or leftover parilla or torta from dinner. He usually eats dinner at abuela's restaurant. Sometimes she fixes him rice and fish. Sometimes he has rabas, breaded fried squid, for a special treat.
He lives in an apartment with his mom, dad and abuela. The apartment is close to his abuela's restaurant and a few blocks away from his school.
His task at home is to put the trash and the recycling outside. There are trash baskets outside every house and apartment building. Every other day, the trash truck comes by to collect bags. On alternate days, they pick up recycling.
Rocco's mom teaches high school and his dad works at an office. Rocco's abuela runs a restaurant.
