Hallo zusammen! Hello, everyone! My name is Meghan Kunz, and I currently live in Dresden, Germany. I believe curiosity is one of the best qualities to acquire! I have always loved learning. I grew up in Rockford, Illinois and moved 2,000 miles away to Snohomish, Washington when I was in sixth grade. There were so many new things to learn and explore in Washington. Snohomish (snow-home-ish) is a small town in a valley surrounded by mountains. Some of the most common things to do there are fish for salmon in the river, shop at antique stores, and take a hot air balloon ride!
In college, I studied German and history. Learning a language is fun because you also learn about a new culture, food, music, and history. This is one reason why I love to travel. Traveling is a great way to explore new places, meet new people, and learn new things!
While in college, I also studied how to become a teacher. That’s how I ended up in Dresden! I was blessed with an acceptance to take part in the Fulbright U.S Student Program and work as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) at a local school. When I have free time, I enjoy going outside, playing card games with friends, and exploring new places!
I look forward to taking you along with me on my adventures in Dresden.
Bis später! Until later!
