My dad drives an ambulance for the health center in the next town over. He also uses our family's car as a taxi and when he isn’t at his other job, he picks people up and takes them to and from the towns nearby. My mom has a store in our house where she sells lots of different items to people in our town (since we don’t have a grocery store or mall here). My mom also makes lunches for some of the high schoolers (5-10 students each day) and they pay 5 soles for each meal.
My classes begin at 8am and I go home at 1pm.
I walk to the school since I live very close (less than a 3-minute walk). I usually go by myself because my parents are working, but occasionally my dad will drop me off in his car.
I eat lunch in the house after classes. My favorite food is Aji de Gallina.
We speak Spanish at school (unless Miss Michala is teaching us English). And to say hello we say “Hola”.
