Hey! Happy (late) Halloween! I hope you all are having an amazing week. I heard you're learning about long division and wanted to tell you guys how much I LOVE it!

I have been in Spain for a month and a half now and wanted to tell you guys about the theatre I’ve seen here! So far, I have seen only one show (which makes me sad), and it was called, "Anything Can Happen in the Theatre". This show was a revue which means a collection of songs that together tell a story, but the songs individually don't relate to one another. It was a show that my school was putting on, and the talent was amazing. It was so cool to see theatre done by more than just Americans and to hear different accents sing and speak. It was a moment for me that solidified in my mind that I am not in the States anymore. Since coming here, I have been learning more about theatre than actually seeing it, which is still just as fun for me. We have been looking at different types of theatre in my Theatre History Class, and this week was absurdist theatre, and I researched an absurdist playwright named Václav Havel (Bock-love Hav-elle) . Absurdist theatre is hard to explain, but the characters in it speak in roundabout sentences and say the same thing over and over.
