In other words, our definitions of God maybe different, but regardless of that fact, we are asked to be kind, tolerant and supportive.
It is unlike me to ask something of you all, but please keep the victims and their families and friends in your thoughts. Send up a prayer if that's your way, but also listen with the aim to understand and spread small moments of joy in your own communities. People are inherently similar despite their visible differences. Celebrate those differences and recognize your commonalities.
