There are many different ways to get around La Paz. When I am in my neighborhood, the most common way for me to get around is by minibus. They come and go from everywhere and are the most inexpensive way to travel. If I am going into the city center, I can take the Mi Teleférico, the cable car system that spans the whole city of La Paz. This method of transportation is also very cheap and quick. I don’t like to take taxis, because they are expensive and sometimes they charge you more than they are supposed to.
Mostly I like to wear comfortable clothes. If I am going to work, I make sure to look professional, but I never have to wear anything too formal. When I was younger, I was influenced by rap music and used to dress like the rappers I looked up to. I think that some of that style has stayed with me as I have grown up.
My work keeps me very busy, but when I have free time I like to hang out with my friends. Sometimes we go to the bar and play pool or go out to the disco and dance. I also like to make music and rap. I have traveled all over La Paz and even outside of the city to rap for all sorts of different people. I enjoy writing rap songs and sharing them with everyone.
Right now, I only speak two languages. I speak Spanish, my first language, and English, which I learned in school. In Spanish, hola means "hello."
