Traveler Bio

Hi! My name is Natalie (she/her), but you can call me Nati, like many of my friends do. I’m from Memphis, Tennessee, and New Orleans, Louisiana. I have lived near the Mississippi River most of my life, and now I live in South America, near a different river called El Río de la Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am in graduate school studying cultural diversity.

My relationship with Argentina began in 2013 with an exchange program that offered a combination of my two passions: studying theatre and Spanish. Thanks to the Fulbright Program, I returned in 2018 as an English Teaching Assistant, growing as a student, educator, and artist. I grew up with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), so I get that not everyone learns the same way. I feel the most alive while singing, dancing, traveling, trying new foods, and connecting with interesting humans. Education is a powerful instrument toward understanding people who might think and feel differently. Our differences are worth celebrating!

I'm excited for you to join me on this journey. Let's go!
