Before coming to London, I had a lot of people tell me how rainy it would be all the time, but in reality, London is cloudy a lot more than it is rainy. It doesn't rain that often here, but it isn't sunny often, either. Sometimes I miss the sun! The sun was out today, though, and my friends and I actually clapped when we walked outside. It's a lot colder here than in Rolesville because London is farther north, so this week's high temperatures are in the 50's.
You don't see lots of animals living in a city, other than squirrels and people's dogs! They're very cute, though, and all the dogs just look British, kind of like the dogs from Lady and the Tramp.
I think the pigeons are the coolest animals in nature here because they aren't even scared of you. When you walk towards a London pigeon, it will try to outwalk you until the last second, where it starts to fly, but by the last second, you're almost close enough to touch it!
