The weather this week was chilly! I had brought two suitcases for my two years here; basically, I packed my whole life into two bags. I only brought one sweatshirt and one crewneck, and this week was the first time I broke them out. It’s been about 70 degrees and cloudy most of the week with some rain and some sunshine. Usually, the rain here inhibits a lot of things from happening, but not this week! A lot of things went on!
This week, I observed some birds, frogs, manatees, jellyfish, fish and lots of dogs. The ocean is full of vibrant marine life: the big manatees I saw from afar looked like brown dolphins swimming across the coast and the big jellyfish looked like plastic bags in the water.
