This week was sunnier and a little warmer than the past few weeks. The storms cleared up, and even though it’s still cool and breezy, the sun has been out more often. Walking around Lisbon has been nice because it feels more comfortable, and I enjoy being outside between classes.
I saw a lot of birds and dogs around my neighborhood in Paço de Arcos. People walk their dogs almost everywhere, and it’s fun to watch them. I also saw a parakeet sitting in someone’s apartment window, which reminded me of the one I had growing up.
I walked along the beach and noticed how the tide had returned to normal after the storms. The sand was back, and the coastline felt calm again. It was interesting to see how much the beach changes with the weather and the waves. I just enjoyed walking along and watching the water move.
