This weekend I traveled a lot because I went on an excursion. I estimate that I traveled about 237 miles visiting different places in China.
I have traveled a lot since I first got to Shanghai, to different districts outside of Putuo District, which is where my college is located. One district in particular, is Xingtindi and this is where Fuxing Park is located. This and other districts are only a metro-ride away and so it doesn't take long to get there.
There are so many ways to get around in China! This week I traveled by coach, bus, bike, metro and high-speed train.
The most interesting place this week was the Global Harbor mall. I am pretty careful to spend my money wisely, so I mostly window shopped. I am waiting to buy things in other towns as prices in this popular mall are similar or higher than those in the U.S. for the same products. The coolest part of this mall is how massive it is!
