Hey guys! Today, I'd like to talk to you about one of my favorite aspects of traveling trying new foods! Since moving to Spain, eating at local restaurants and trying new dishes has been a major part of blending in with this new culture for me, and one of those brand-new dishes that I wanted to share with you is paella.
As I previously mentioned, a brand new food I tried was paella. Specifically, a chicken and sausage paella, which smelled amazing and comes in a big pan meant to be shared with others. This traditional Spanish dish can be made of meat, seafood or vegetables.
When I first tried the paella, I was really excited. The seasoning and texture were both amazing, and the smell even better. The rice was covered in sauce, which made it soft but not like a soup; the chicken was really soft, and the vegetables added an amazing contrast to all the other flavors.
