Traveler Bio

Hallå! Hello! I'm Nick Rutherford, a 21-year-old from Coventry, Rhode Island. I'm eager to share my experiences and how they've inspired me to take on this expedition to Sweden!

In high school, I was a jack of all trades, trying my hand at various extracurricular activities like wrestling and the Boy Scouts, in which I earned the rank of Eagle Scout. When I wasn't outdoors as a Scout, I was diving into the Navy's world as a Sea Cadet or honing my strategic skills at the local chess club.

My journey continued to the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where I decided to settle down and study political science. But my adventurous side beckoned, pushing me to broaden my horizons. That's why I decided to embark on a study abroad adventure in Stockholm, Sweden. As a dual citizen of the UK and the USA, I yearned to explore a vibrant European country different from the norm. Sweden, with its awe-inspiring landscapes and intriguing culture, fit the bill perfectly.

Today, you'll find me immersed in the rich tapestry of Swedish life, constantly seeking new horizons, and embracing the challenges and opportunities that come my way. I'm passionate about pushing boundaries and am thrilled to share my journey with you.
