Traveler Bio

Hello! My name is Nicole. I am from the Dominican Republic, but I currently live in New York City with my mother and little brother. Growing up in the Dominican Republic, I met people from many different cultures who came to the island for its beautiful beaches. In New York, I met many people who came here from other places, too. The more people I meet, the more I want to learn about other countries, traditions and languages. I speak Spanish and English, which helps me connect with more people. It is like having superpower!

For this journey, we're going to re-live my experiences as a study abroad student in Ghana. We can travel virtually to this beautiful West African country and learn everything we can. Do not be afraid of exploring the unknown. As my mother likes to say: “You never know what you can gain if you never try.”
