It uses much more arm strength and cardio than downhill skiing, so I was exhausted at the end.
I mostly read academic papers and news on the regulation of artificial intelligence. For fun, I've been reading The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Díaz, a book about a Dominican-American boy growing up in New Jersey.
I played ice hockey with a female community hockey league in Umeå. I used to figure skate when I was in middle school, so I thought this was going to be easy peasy. Quickly, I learned that I have no idea how to stop in hockey skates!
I stuffed myself with some delicious food this week. My favorite was the Christmas feast, or julbord in Swedish. I also got to taste kebabs in Turkey and hearty stews in Bulgaria.
