Jo napot! (Good morning!) Hogy vagy? (How are you?) I am very excited to have the opportunity to show your class the beauty and fun of traveling. I believe there is no better form of education in the world.
Before we start traveling together, I'll share a little bit more about myself. I was born in the city of Denver, Colorado and I moved around a lot when I was younger. When I was seven years old, in first grade, my parents moved my family to a small village in southwest Germany. The village was called Tannenkirch, and it was located in the Black Forest area. My parents immediately enrolled me in a small German elementary school, even though I didn't speak German. We lived in this small village of 800 people for 2 years. It took me a good 3 months to begin to even want to speak German and another 3 months to be able to speak it very well. As you can imagine, I was a scared seve-year-old at first, but once I got to know all of my classmates, everything was better. After I finished 2nd grade, my family moved back to Colorado. I was raised in the city, and I always wanted to live in a city, but living in Germany for 2 years piqued my interest in global studies and learning about other people and cultures! For middle school, I enrolled into an international school, where I began to learn Spanish.
