The photos in this album show the Universidade de Vigo-Ourense campus.  The school currently has around 21,000 students, and this large student body is an important aspect of the city's social scene.

This is the university's bagpipe school. The bagpipes are one of the official instruments of Galicia, as they are a reminder of the Celtic and Gaelic influence in the region hundreds of years ago.
This is one of the walkways through the part of campus in the city center.
This is one of the main administrative buildings on campus.
This is a view of the courtyard in front of the building housing the educational studies program, which is on the right.
On the left is the economics building. Straight ahead is one of the walking bridges across the highway that connects the two sides of the campus.
This is a closer view of the main walking bridge spanning the highway and connecting the two sides of the campus.
This is the view of the east side of campus from the walking bridge.
This is a similar view of the east side of campus, but on the right you can see the buildings of the city center. This is the limit of the city center, as it ends at the highway and gives way to the university buildings.
