你好 (hello) for the last time! I had such a great time chatting with your class and getting to share my love for snow leopard conservation and the culture of China. It has been a fantastic few weeks with all of you.
I hope you learned a lot from our time together. I am so proud of all your hard work advocating for snow leopards. Your letters asking for support to adopt a snow leopard were amazing! You all have made me very hopeful for the future of snow leopards and other at-risk species.
On our journey together, you saw how people get around in Beijing, what a snow leopard habitat looks like, how people on the Tibetan Plateau live and the wildlife and what it’s like to be a foreigner here. You’ve all asked great questions, and helped me experience life in China in a different way by showing you my daily routine. I hope I’ve shown you things about China that not only encourage you to come visit here but to explore the world and travel in general. I’ve been lucky enough to live many different places with my job as a scientist, and I cannot stress enough how important trying new things and getting out your comfort zone really is!
