Hi Class!
I cannot wait to video chat with all of you, but until then let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am 23 years old and someday want to work in art law. I am orginially from Connecticut and sometimes like to go hiking. In college I majored in Geography and minored in Art History. In college I also had the opportunity to study in Spain and the Czech Republic. (In the photos attached I am visiting Northern Spain.) While studying abroad I found a renewed interest in Art History. Many of the artworks included black people, but many of their stories were yet to be told or researched. There are few people of color in the art world, and when I came back to school I decided to start taking classes in Art History. This past year I was awarded a Fulbright Award to study art history in London at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) at the University of London. I have now lived in London for five months. I really enjoy going to galleries and arts events. I look forward to my further experiences in London. And I am excited to have you along for the ride with me!
