My Trip to Jerusalem

Photos

On our way to Jerusalem, we could see the Dead Sea, a salt lake bordered by Israel and Jordan
Some areas are open to tourists, but others are separated for industrial extraction of the salt lake's properties
From this altitude, we could see the divisions between different parts of Jerusalem as well as ruins of Lifta, that was once a Palestinian village, depopulated in the late 1940s
The ruins of Lifta had cacti growing around the buildings
Nebi Samuel National Park, a holy site for the Abrahamic faiths
The view from an abandoned construction of a summer home for King Hussein of Jordan, from when Jordan occupied the city until 1967
Another view from the unfinished summer palace, overlooking different parts of Jerusalem
After the palace, we visited the Mount Scopus campus of Hebrew University, an enclave of East Jerusalem
