Thank you for such a fun few weeks together! I have really enjoyed sharing my experiences in Ecuador and also learning about Nebraska! I hope that you have enjoyed discussing the extremely diverse and colorful country that is Ecuador. I have about five weeks remaining here until I return home, and until then, I will be enjoying all of the mountain views and delicious fruits as much as I can!
If you have the chance to travel abroad in the future, I would highly encourage you to do so. As I mentioned during our first call, most universities offer generous study abroad scholarship opportunities and studying and working abroad has taught me so much about other cultures and languages. Even better, it has allowed me to make friends from around the world who have enriched my life so much. I've learned to be independent, problem-solve and most of all, listen empathetically. Plus, I have gotten to try some crazy foods and go on some spontaneous adventures that I never would have otherwise tried!
