Hallo alle!
For this week, I have a treat for y'all - a post on literal treats! As with many European countries, Denmark is no stranger to fresh-baked bread and bakeries, which can be found around every corner. So as not to sugarcoat any more of this post (and to put an end to terrible puns like that one), I decided to enjoy some of what Copenhagen has to offer in terms of baked goods. Of course, I'll also provide a small note explaining what I generally make at home!
In total, I enjoyed a tasty chocolate-filled croissant (quite common around Copenhagen); a small raspberry cake (called Hindbærsnitte in Danish, which translates to, "raspberry slices"; with fresh hot chocolate. And, for something warm, I bought a small box of Chinese take-out of fish, calamari and fried rice. For dinner, I ended up having a Thai pork grilled cheese, but I forgot to take any pictures of this (and it's also not the highlight of this week's post)!
