It’s time for me to say goodbye, as my study abroad adventure comes to an end. I’ve had such an amazing time, and I want to share a few highlights with you.
When I first got ready to come to Sweden, I was a little nervous but also so excited to see what this journey would bring. Over the months I have been here, I’ve loved watching the seasons change, especially the fall weather with all the colorful leaves.
One of the most exciting parts of my trip was the study-tour in Brussels, Belgium, thanks to the Gilman Scholarship. We visited the European Union Parliament, met U.S. ambassadors and even talked with members of the Socialist Democrats of the European Union. It was so cool to learn about how countries work together and to hear from people making big decisions for our world!
I’m so glad I decided to study abroad, and I am even happier to share this experience with all of you! Thank you for following along and for all your great questions. This journey has taught me so much about the world, and I hope you’ve learned a little bit too!
