My first six months living in Switzerland have been both amazing and challenging. Adjusting to life in a new language and work environment has certainly had its bumps. On the other hand, I have made wonderful friends, tried delicious Swiss cheeses, and learned a lot about Switzerland. It has been a pleasure to share the first half of my journey with you all. Thanks to you, I have reflected and learned more about my experiences while documenting them for you.
Though I am only six months into my one year journey, it has already been an incredibly transforming experience. I have dreamed of immersing myself in a different language and culture for many years, so it is a dream come true for me to live in Switzerland this year. It has also been surreal to travel to places that I remember learning about in middle school, such as Rome. I hope you had a fun time following my travels and experiences navigating life in Switzerland! I hope that you consider learning more about a different language and culture as you can, whether through books or films or studying abroad one day.
