The Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is a classic example of French Gothic Architecture and took from 1163 to 1345 to be completed!
This is Sainte-Chapelle, my favorite monument in Paris and which was designed to be the private chapel of the king
The Louvre Museum is an interesting mixture of old and new architecture with parts of the museum dating back to the 13th century, while the glass pyramid was added in the 1980's!
London's Westminster Abbey is an example of English Gothic Architecture so first cousin to Notre Dame in France!
Tower Bridge in London was built in the 1880s and  is an iconic symbol of the city and an example of Gothic Revival Architecture
Not every example of amazing architecture is found on famous monuments as shown by this half-timber style pub.
Dublin Castle is a Medieval castle with fortified walls and a very dark interior
This is 14th century Bran Castle in Romania (also known as Dracula's Castle), which is known as a  landmark of Medieval architecture
