Ocean is not a very common name in Nepal, and is definitely unique! We are going to learn a little bit about her life in Bhaktapur today, including her life at home, school life and her personal hobbies.
Ocean's favorite breakfast items are Chocos cereal, biscuits, milk and bread with mixed jam. She also loves Nutella!! She wakes up early for gymnastics practice and then goes back home for lunch. Lunch is pretty early in Nepal. Usually her mom will make her rice with lentils, dhal bhat. Ocean's mom also packs her eggs with fried rice or bread to take to school. For dinner, their family usually eats dhal bhat together around 7:00 p.m.
It is pretty common in Nepal for children to not have their own room, at least until the age of nine years old. Ocean is eight years old, so she does not have her own room yet. In their home, they have a kitchen, living room and balcony where they can hang out together. Ocean lives with her parents and her grandma.
