This week I split my time between Portofino, a coastal town, and Vicenza, a small town in Northern Italy! I enjoyed many sunny days, navigated trains through new areas, and saw lots of wildlife!

In Italy, the piazza (town square) is a central part of daily life and important traditions. It is often called the "living room of the city" due to the importance of the piazza in everyday life.
This week, my class took a two-day trip to the city of Venice, Italy! Venice is often nicknamed "The Floating City", as it consists of 126 islands, separated by canals and connected by 450+ bridges.
