Meet the Students of Kids Club!

Introduction:

I interviewed four students in my Kids Club, an after-school English Club. They come to learn and practice speaking English. 

Their names are Vy, Hân, Dương and Khang. They are all in elementary school (grades one through six) in Việt Nam.

They shared what their lives are like at home and at school.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Hân (girl, age 10, grade 5): I eat phở for breakfast. I eat chicken and rice for lunch. For dinner, I eat rice and beef. My favorite food is fried chicken.

What is your house like?:

Vy (girl, age 10, grade 5/6): “My house has four doors and three windows. It is very big. It has many chairs and tables.”

What chores do you have at home?:

Dương (girl, age 9, grade 4): “I often wash dishes. I clean my house.”

 

What jobs do your parents have?:

Vy (girl, age 10, grade 5/6): “My parents cook and sell food. They have a restaurant.”

  

What time does school start, and what time do you go home?:

Khang (boy, age 9, grade 4): “I go to school at 7:15 a.m. I go home at 4:20 p.m.”
