Interview with Julie Corbé, my IFE program coordinator!

Introduction:

I spoke with Julie, the coordinator of my program in Paris. Part of the program is that she only speaks to us in French, so the responses are translated to English :). Julie is reponsible for much of our daily lives here in Paris, and she does a great job making sure we all have what we need - whether its in our internship placements, housing, or finding ways to meet new people. She is an amazing resource here and has really helped being in Paris feel like home! 

What is your full name?:

"My name is Julie Corbé." (pronounced "core-bay")

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

"I live in Ermont, a suburban town near Paris. Currently, I live in an apartment with a large living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, and two bedrooms. We would like to move to a house with more bedrooms and a garden!"

What is your family like?:

"I have a husband, a two-and-a-half-year-old son, and I am actually currently pregnant with my second child!"

Note from Anna: We only found out yesterday that she is expecting a baby, so good timing!

How do you get around?:

"I mainly get around by public transport and car." Julie is referring to regional trains, the metro, and buses.
