I am planning on joining the Himawari club, or the volunteering club, in Kansai Gaidai tohelp me interact with more people. I organize or join in the plans made by the girls in my dorm unit, such as going to downtown Osaka, cooking or doing grocery shopping. I also take the time to reconnect and hang out with the Japanese friends I met back at Guilford College.
I am still creating bonds with the Japanese and international students at Kansai Gaidai University, and I look forward to participating and doing so much more! In fact, I cannot imagine what my study abroad experience in Japan would look like without the friends I have made pre- and post-arrival.
