Hallo! Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am from a small farming town in Illinois. I am a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Go ILLINI! I am majoring in Speech and Hearing Science and minoring in Psychology. I want to become a speech-language pathologist. There is probably one at your school now! When I am not studying, I work in a research lab on campus and play volleyball on a rec team.
Join me this spring when I will be studying abroad in the Netherlands at VU Amsterdam!! After I graduate from college, I will go to graduate school to continue my studies. I am so lucky to have this opportunity because I will not have time to travel after college.
I am leaving behind 2 cats named Edie and Pico. Although I am sad to leave my family and pets, my sister will visit me during my trip. I love trying new foods and going on hikes. I am looking forward to taking a canal tour of Amsterdam and trying stroopwafels.
Bye for now, or as the Dutch would say, doei voor nu!
