Chào bạn! Hey friend! My name is Olivia, and I am 22 years old. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina. I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in International & Global Studies. I love learning about other cultures and languages. I was so excited when I was both accepted into a study abroad program in South Korea AND awarded a Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship! However, because of the pandemic, I was not able to travel to South Korea. I still wanted to have a global experience, so I pursued a virtual internship in Hanoi, Vietnam. I worked as an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher with many wonderful Vietnamese students. I learned about Vietnamese culture and made many new friends, all while working from home. I cannot wait to share these global experiences with you!
