The most fun activity for me was spending time with my brother and sister. It was surreal to show them the places I've grown to be so familiar with. I took them around my apartment in Bovisa and showed them around the Duomo Cathedral. My Italian is not the best, but they were very impressed when I ordered them food!
I read a lot of articles about places to go in Madrid and Rome. Luckily, I was able to discover so many fun places, most notably the Prado Museum, which features some of the most iconic paintings from various generations of artists. When I was at the museum, I also read a lot of captions and biographies. I learned so much about different artists, the different techniques they used and the significance of their art.
I didn't play any games or sports, but I did go to the gym a few times this week. You would think walking around in Europe is enough of a workout (which it definitely is), but it is important to stay active!
This week is officially Design Week in Milan. There are going to be various art installations and pop-ups where artists showcase their art, clothing designs and even furniture. The city is going to be vibrant and fun!
