Hello! My name is Oriah Milne and I am 22 years old and from New Hampshire. I am excited to share my travel abroad to Australia with you all!
Growing up, I was not able to leave the country until I was 18. I am the middle child with a sister, a brother, 3 dogs, and 1 cat! I am studying human development and family studies at the University of New Hampshire and will be graduating in the fall with my bachelor's degree.
I chose to study abroad in Australia because I love the ocean and the outdoor lifestyle which is highly valued in this country. Life is very laid back here and some people don't even wear shoes! Although Aussies speak English, there are many new words I am hearing, and accents I am learning to understand.
I am very passionate about photography, working with children, and practicing yoga in my free time. I am thrilled to be able to share my photographs on my profile. There are so many new birds and wild animals I have seen already and luckily I have been able to capture them in photos. I have spent my weekends traveling to close by towns with my roommate. I am excited to explore more of the country before I go home to America. Follow along to see Australia through my lens...let's go!
