Sometimes it is nice to understand what others have seen previously. This is why I like to read scientific papers on these subjects.
Briscola! This is an Italian card game introduced to me by a colleague onboard. We have a small group of people that like to play the Briscola game every couple of days as a way to relax and have some fun.
One of the most amazing things we experienced was our ice floe spinning in circles! During the first month we were here, the floe simply drifted across the Arctic, but in the last days the floe started spinning slowly. We made more than two full circles over the course of two days before the ice floe again became stationary. Wow, I have no idea why this happened!
