The currency here is called the dinar. The smaller denomination is called qirsh. The exchange rate is: one U.S. dollar = seventy cents (qirsh) here.

My best meal this week was cooking curry with my roommate. One of our friends attends culinary school in Jordan, and he was able to walk us through the steps of cooking curry.
I listened to: Mashrou' Leila; SZA, Girl in Red, Ariana Grande and my neighbors singing karaoke!
For now, the most fun activity is going grocery shopping. It is always a nice walk from my apartment to the store, especially when it's sunny out, and it's a way to get more food - all in all, the perfect combination of food and exercise!
