I listened to a lot of Jimi Hendrix this week. I've been trying to learn the song "All Along the Watchtower" on guitar. I also listened to Bad Bunny, I've been trying to learn more of his songs before he performs during the Super Bowl.
I went to a Copa del Rey match on Wednesday. Copa del Rey is an important soccer tournament throughout Spain where professional teams from the five divisions of Spanish soccer compete for one championship. It's an opportunity for lower level clubs to compete against the top teams in La Liga, the top Spanish soccer divison. Deportivo is the team from A Coruna and they currently play in the second division of La Liga. They played in A Coruna against Atletico Madrid, one of the top teams in the country. Deportivo has been at the top of the standings in the second division this year and hopes to return to the top division after difficult years in the 2010s. This game was a chance to demonstrate they could compete with the top national teams. They lost 1-0 after Atletico's famous Antoine Griezmann scored in the 60th minute. However, they remained competive throughout the game, with many chances to tie to match at the end.
