I learned how to write my name in Thai, so now I know how to read the Thai letters that equate to the sounds in my name Will.
I played a lot of trivia and singing games with the other English teachers in my Fulbright cohort.
I'm looking forward to Halloween soon! My host teacher, who is my main point of contact at my school in Chanthaburi and helps me feel at home in Thailand, invited me to her Halloween party next week. Halloween isn't widely celebrated here as it's a newer holiday. In fact, two years ago was the first time my school had Halloween activities for their students. I'm excited to share with my students this week about all the joy we have trick-or-treating and dressing up in costumes back in the U.S.!
