The local theatre also had a live action production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which I am a bit of a fan of! I have seen this production 5 times in the past decade!
I read mainly for pleasure, as I like to distract myself from reading scholarly articles, which is what most of the readings in grad school consist of. I have a local library card, and I pick out a new book each week. I also have a Kindle that I connect to Libby, which also allows me to read books for free. Occasionally, I'll read a Scottish newspaper if I find one on the table at a coffee shop. I'll usually skim the entire paper in about 5-10 minutes, and then I will go back to read fully the articles that interest me. I have always enjoyed reading. When I was in elementary and middle school, I used to read a lot. This was the time of Twilight, The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Divergent. I used to get bored often in class, and I would glance down at my lap to pull out and read a book from the inside of my desk. Sometimes I could manage to finish an entire book in one day. My friends and I would get a book title from the school library that had enough copies for each of us, and then we'd race each other to see who could finish it first. I sure miss those days!
Sadly, I don't play any sports. I wish I were athletic or competitive. I do have a bicycle, though. I really enjoy riding it around town and to my part-time job. A few weekends ago, I rode my bike down to Crail, then to Anstruther, and then back to St Andrews for a fun day trip. It was about 25 miles in total!
