A Day in the Life of a 6th-Grader

Ju Won really loves his family and is glad that they have a lot of fun together.

How do you get around?:

Ju Won usually walks from place to place. He says he always gets dropped off by his mom in the morning for school and then walks in the evenings to get back home. Sometimes in the summer when the weather is hotter, he likes to ride his bike in the evening so that he "can meet up with friends whenever!"

What types of clothing do you like to wear?:

Ju Won likes to wear athletic clothing. He is one of the taller kids in his class, and like many of the students, he likes wearing comfortable, neutral clothes. I can usually spot Ju Won in his signature matching tracksuit at school.

What do you like to do in your free time?:

"I love drawing!" Ju Won is really passionate about art. He is really good at drawing and making graphic images. His dream is to one day get into an arts-based high school and eventually pursue a career in animation.

What language(s) do you speak? How do you say "Hello" in your language?:

He speaks Korean and English! To say hello in Korean, you say "annyeong hasseyo." In middle school, Ju Won will need to start learning another language, and he isn't sure whether he is more interested in taking Chinese or Japanese.

Do you have pets?:

No. Ju Won wanted a pet when he was younger, but it was too hard to own a pet in an apartment. He did keep a small beetle in the house a few years ago, but he sadly informed me that his parents made him release it back into the wild.
