My first week in Moscow was beautiful! The weather was warm and the days were sunny. Recently it has gotten very cold, but I am surviving. They don't have air conditioning in most buildings here because they don't need it! Only heat! Thankfully, it almost never rains, but as it gets colder, it gets cloudier, making the city look much more gray. I still go out every day, though, to see new places and meet more Russian people.
The birds here are much larger than in America, and I like them a lot more than the pigeons in Chicago. They look like they may be crows, and I have seen them fight over food such as bread left on the ground. The one animal I expected to see but have not is squirrels. They are everywhere where I am from in America, but I have not seen any in Moscow!
